Leymus cinereus (Great Basin Wildrye)

A beautiful ornamental to add to your yard. This is large bunchgrass that likes a little more moisture than most other grasses we sell. It is often found amongst sagebrush in open areas, along roadsides and at the bottom of hills.

It can reach up to 8 ft tall if it receives a little water throughout the entire growing season. Moderately long lived and excellent wildlife habitat. This bunchgrass looks great alone, in mass plantings or native yards. 

Germinates readily but is very slow to establish. Plant in pots or desired location.
